Small bout in Italy, awesome finds in the US!

Okay, so I came home from Italy after one week (don't ask why, we all have our own personal issues). But, anyway, the good thing about it was that Hello Kitty was everywhere. I even got a HK bag of chips with a silly band in it. Also, they had HK ice cream. It is possible! Would have gotten it if it wouldn't have melted on the sweltering walk home. A visit to the H&M along the Piazza del Corso found a huge wall of HK toiletries! Got some lotion and body spray and stuffs.

But, alas, I am home. So that means: the mall and Walmart!

The latest news for Walmart: more HK stuff is appearing! I'm really tempted to get the backpacks. (but my mom would probably yell at me cause I have that expen
sive Vera Bradely one)
And keep checking back at your local Sears. The HK booth has updated school supplies for all you back to school needs!

And a surprising location--OLD NAVY! I found a few HK shirts (one even on sale) and a multitude of HK back to school accessories. Cute lunchboxes for an awesome low price, too!
So, even though I'm no longer in Italy, I can still find my precious Hello Kitty at home here in the US!

Meanwhile, I'm going to Otakon this weekend, so I hope to find a boat-load of goodies!! I just got mobile-blogging for this, so hopefully it all will be easy. Hopefully.

BTW, cutest HK shop-ette along the river in Rome: La Stanza di Kitty. Only open at night, but you can enjoy both wine AND Hello Kitty!

Been a while, BUT; APPAREL AHOY!

Hey guys! What's up? I know it's been quite a bit since I've last posted--but I'm indefinitely lazy and always put posting pics on the back-burner. In any case, it's been an eventful few months, so I'll start to with my birthday a couple months ago:

While I always get some HK merch/apparel for my birthday, I got this in the mail a few weeks before. My parents weren't home, so I had to bring this package in. It's Hello Kitty luggage! So happy!!!!!

Later on, I discovered my old HK rubber boots became...well used. There were holes EVERYWHERE, and water leaked in... What's the point, then? I trekked to the Sears in Altoona, PA, and found these babies. Still in my size! They're great for college. Comfy, too. When I volunteer at my local animal shelter in the morning, I wear these to defeat the morning dew. Plus, I always get some awesome comments. ;)

Was at Walmart earlier and stopped in my tracks. There are only two shirts and two pairs of boy shorts, but I find this an incredible find for Walmart. They usually only have little girls toys of My Melody, so I was happy to see apparel in my size--though I opted out of these because I didn't like their texture. (I am very picky)

Also, I peaked into the kids' toy section the other day in Walmart, they have a Hello Kitty section similar to Target now!! I really want to check that out sometime...

AND THE BIGGEST THING IS:

I got a tattoo! I've been saving this up for a while now. And I'm so happy I got it. I kinda wish I had it on my shoulder now, but no regrets. Love so much. HK tats are forever, so you definitely got to know how deep your love for Hello Kitty is...

Another thing too, I'm going to Italy on July 4th, so I'm hoping I see a whole bunch of Hello Kitty stuff. My boyfriend was recently there and said they are pretty HK friendly. Excited!

Sears & Setsucon Adventures

Hi guys! Some good bits from this weekend!

First off, I went to Setsucon on Saturday--it's the only anime convention I've ever been to since it is hosted locally in State College. Thank God this year it was in the Penn Stater hotel...

Anywho, they had plenty of HK merch--my boyfriend bought me a $5 keychain AND a $30 plushie. (after lots of coercion)

I cropped my friend's face out because she might not appreciate it being on a random Hello Kitty blog. ANYWAY, it's a yellow panda outfit. What you can't see is a crystal tear coming down from her left eye. GORGEOUS.

Next, you totally got to go to your local Sears. Granted, my local LOCAL Sears doesn't have this, but you gotta check it out! I was in Altoona, PA and I found a pretty large kiosk dedicated to every-day needed HK items.

Purses, hats, scarves, umbrellas, rain boots, OH MY! Some of the stuff is even on sale. Definitely worth the one hour drive there! Due give it a look.
